Phil and Linda Krause opened Café J with the aim of giving diners the experience of a warm urban bistro without the upscale checks. 
It looks like they succeeded.  From the moment you enter, you are cosseted by the warm and welcoming hues of the newly designed interior.  Couple that with an expansive menu that includes comforting classics, a varied wine list, a bar that’s great for a few quiet drinks, and you have the makings of a great break from your daily routine.
